With the FOCUS JAM² 6.7 NINE 29″ E-bike you can conquer the mountains even faster – thanks to the powerful Bosch Performance CX drive. The battery is nicely integrated into the frame and delivers 625 watt hours. The geometry of the JAM² was designed for agility and an aggressive riding style, so that the trail fun is just as high as on bikes without electric motors. F.O.L.D. linkage design offer a well-balanced ratio of sensitivity and progressiveness. The RockShox Recon fork, the Deluxe Select rear shock and the smooth rolling wheels are further highlights of this E-bike.

FOCUS Optimized Linkage Design (F.O.L.D.)
The exact functioning of the rear suspension is crucial in the construction of a full suspension bike. It has a decisive influence on the riding characteristics of the bike – and is therefore its heart. FOCUS has developed and patented its own kinematics FOCUS Optimized Linkage Design (F.O.L.D.), a rear suspension system that offers several advantages. At F.O.L.D. the spring travel is divided into two phases. In the first phase, the characteristic curve of the rear end is degressive: the suspension reacts extremely sensitively and absorbs the smallest impacts. This gives the F.O.L.D. typical and noticeable plus in traction compared to other rear systems. In the second phase, the characteristic curve is progressive in order to provide sufficient control even with rough hits and to prevent bottoming out. F.O.L.D. makes the rear end feel like more suspension travel and gives you full control in every riding situation.
Flip Chip
Thanks to the FOCUS Flip Chip you don’t have to decide on a wheel size when buying your JAM² E-MTB. At the drop out you have two axle positions: The ” Low Position” is optimised for 27+ tyres, the ” High Position” fits perfectly with 29″ wheels. So you can ride your E-MTB with 29″ , 27+ or as a drifter (29″ /27+). The post mount adapter for the conversion is of course included in the delivery.
