Shimano GRX – Explore Beyond
Instead of telling gravel riders what they needed, Shimano asked them what they wanted for their offroad adventures. The result are the Shimano GRX components which represent the first series especially developed for riding on rough roads and through gravel. The Shimano GRX sets itself apart from the rest of the component world with its gravel specific ergonomics, optimized gearing options, rugged reliability as well as a quiet and stable drivetrain.
Shimano GRX Di2 ST-RX815 shift/brake lever
The electronic/hydraulic Shimano GRX Di2 ST-RX815 dual control lever provides Gravel inspired ergonomics. Particularly striking is the shape of the handle whose hood head is raised to prevent misalignment while the recessed finger notch prevents the hand from slipping upwards. Like the handle, also the lever features an anti-slip coating for greater mixed-terrain control.
In terms of shifting performance the 2×11-speed GRX Di2 STI lever can take full advantage of the well-known digital precision of the Shimano Di2 electronic shift systems and the
technology. In contrast the braking performance is optimized by the brake lever’s rotary axle which is positioned 18 mm higher than usual and Shimano’s
technology improving the lever’s modulation ability.
In addition, the programmable Di2 shift/brake lever features three switches (two on the side and one on the hood’s top) that can be used to operate third-party devices such as compatible lights or bike computers. In order to meet the individual needs of the driver, the hydraulic brake lever offers reach and free stroke adjustment as well.

Shimano GRX BR-RX810 disc brake caliper
Never hesitate to tackle rough surfaces with the hydraulic Shimano GRX BR-RX810 caliper. In doing so
ensure excellent heat dissipation while the BR-RX810’s 2 ceramic pistons guarantee excellent braking performance under all conditions. The Flat Mount system makes it possible to attach the disc brake caliper directly at frame or fork. Trouble-free and simple maintenance is provided by the proven
One Way Bleeding
concept and the
Easy Hose Joint System
which simplifies brake hose exchanges (brake hose sold separately).
Note: In order to ensure proper functioning of the electronic Di2 drive system, all components need the same firmware version. The optional diagnostic device allows for reading out or updating the firmware version. An operation of components with different firmware versions may cause a malfunction or loss of function.
