The Ortlieb Handlebar-Pack 9L is a compact, waterproof handlebar bag designed for bikepacking, gravel riding and multi-day cycling adventures. With 9 litres of storage and a narrow 40 cm width, it’s particularly well suited to drop-bar bikes where handlebar space is limited.

Waterproof Storage for Bikepacking

Made from durable PU-coated nylon, the Ortlieb Handlebar-Pack offers IP64 waterproof protection, helping keep your clothing, sleeping gear and other essentials dry through heavy rain and road spray.

Roll-top closures at both ends provide quick access to your gear while allowing the bag to be compressed to suit your load. An integrated valve makes it easier to release excess air and pack the bag down efficiently.

Stable Handlebar Mounting

The Handlebar-Pack attaches directly to the handlebars using secure mounting straps, with additional spacers and a strap around the stem helping create a stable setup over rough roads and trails.

An internal stiffener adds structure, while external compression straps help keep your load secure. The bag can also be mounted to carbon handlebars when installed correctly.

Compact Design for Drop Handlebars

At just 40 cm wide, the 9L Handlebar-Pack is an excellent choice for gravel and road bikes with narrower drop handlebars. Despite its compact dimensions, the 9-litre capacity provides useful space for soft bikepacking gear such as clothing, a sleeping bag or a lightweight sleeping mat.

Four integrated hooks also allow an optional Ortlieb Accessory-Pack to be attached, providing additional storage when you need it.
