The Restrap Switch Rack is a lightweight, modular rear bike rack designed for bikepacking, gravel riding, touring and commuting. Built around Restrap's versatile Switch ecosystem, it provides a secure and adaptable platform for carrying panniers, cargo cages and other luggage without relying on traditional rack mounting points.

The rack mounts directly to your bike using a replacement 12 mm rear thru-axle, making it particularly well suited to modern gravel, adventure and hardtail mountain bikes.

Lightweight & Modular

Constructed from lightweight aluminium alloy, the Restrap Switch Rack combines a minimalist design with impressive carrying capacity.

Multiple 64 mm-spaced mounting points make the rack compatible with Restrap Switch Panniers, Switch Multimount accessories and other compatible accessories such as bottle cages.

Restrap's Quick Flip system allows the top bar to be repositioned to maximise tyre and wheel clearance across different bike and frame sizes.

Choose the Correct Thread Pitch

The Switch Rack includes a replacement rear thru-axle and is available in three thread pitches:

• 1.0 mm

• 1.5 mm

• 1.75 mm

It is essential to select the correct thread pitch for your bike. Check your existing rear thru-axle or consult your frame manufacturer's specifications before ordering.

Compatibility

The Restrap Switch Rack is compatible with:

• Bikes using a 12 mm rear thru-axle

• 142 mm rear spacing

• 148 mm Boost rear spacing

• Carbon frames with a compatible thru-axle

• Hardtail e-bikes with compatible thru-axles

• Tyres up to approximately 3.0" on a 29" wheel

The rack is not designed for full-suspension bikes.

Bikes equipped with a UDH derailleur hanger require the Restrap Switch UDH Adaptor.

Bikes using compatible SRAM Transmission / T-Type direct-mount derailleurs require the Restrap Switch Full Mount Adapter.

30 kg Maximum Load

The Switch Rack has a maximum load capacity of 30 kg when evenly distributed:

• 10 kg across the top

• 10 kg on each side

Despite this load rating, the Switch Rack is not approved for carrying child seats.
