LACTATE 60.

A gel combining 40g of carbohydrates (in a 1:1 ratio) with 60 millimoles of lactate to create a new nutritional strategy for endurance sports. It does not replace carbohydrates; it complements them. Its development is the result of months of research into the role of lactate in performance, hundreds of hours of athlete testing, and the nutritional strategy used by Yomif Kejelcha during his feat of breaking the two-hour marathon barrier.

While glucose and fructose use their own absorption pathways, lactate enters via an independent route using MCT transporters. This allows for the addition of an extra metabolic source within the same energy strategy.

Once absorbed, lactate is used as fuel, but it also acts as a signal to the body that exertion is increasing. This triggers the body's performance-related mechanisms, activating the processes involved in responding to high-intensity exercise.

Activation time: 7–10 minutes.

Usage instructions:

High intensity (under 3 hours): Take one gel immediately after warming up; if the effort lasts longer than 1 hour, take one gel every 40 minutes.
